Emerald Ridge is Homer, Alaska’s first fly-in, fly-out accommodations. We have an FAA-registered (02AN) 1,700-foot grass airstrip, fuel, tie-downs, and comfortable accommodations for pilots.

 

Emerald Ridge is also an active homestead. That means cows may be moo’ing outside your cabin or grazing on the runway.

What to Expect
❋ Animals

We have cows, chickens, dogs, and ducks roaming the property. 

❋ Off-Grid Utilities

We’re on solar and battery power. Conserving energy is appreciated. We have well water on the property and all guest accommodations are outhouse.

❋ Access to Town

We are just 15 minutes from downtown Homer. Add another 5 if you’re going to the harbor. You can easily arrange a ride from Emerald Ridge to the greater Homer area.
